29 September: ‘Psychological Safety – Brave Enough to be Safe’ Online Workshop

Psychological safety is often talked about as a leadership priority, but what does it actually look like when people are under pressure, disagreement arises, or something difficult needs to be said?

This 3-hour live virtual workshop, brought to you by Sam Stern and Ella Scheepers, offers a practical and experiential exploration of psychological safety, with a particular focus on its relationship to accountability, conflict and collective learning.

Together, we will explore what psychological safety is and is not, how to recognise the signals that a space is becoming more or less safe, and what we can do when those conditions are under strain. Through conversation, reflection and facilitated practice, you will have an opportunity to work with real situations and develop your own responses as a facilitator, manager or team member.

You will:

  • Develop a clearer understanding of psychological safety and its relationship to accountability.
  • Learn to recognise signals of safety and unsafety in groups.
  • Practise responding to challenging situations while holding safety and accountability together.

Who it’s for: facilitators, managers, team leads, HR and People practitioners, organisational development practitioners, and leaders.
