‘Journeys’

Journeys to Remember provides customised Facilitation, Training and Coaching – both on-site and online (live/synchronous) – in addition to our travel, wellness and healing journeys.

In all of our work, we encourage participatory learning and sustainable behaviour change. (As such, each engagement is a Journey to Remember!)

Organisation and Team Effectiveness

We facilitate:

  • Organisational Development Processes including strategic planning, operational planning and change management processes
  • Team Effectiveness Workshops aimed at strengthening trust and psychological safety and optimising productivity
  • Multi-stakeholder Forums aimed at sharing learning and good practices
  • Courageous Conversations aimed at navigating and resolving systemic conflicts to support lasting change in organisations and communities
  • Individual, Bilateral and Team Relationship Coaching aimed at overcoming a particular obstacle, managing a transition or clearing a particular conflict between two individuals
  • Training of Trainers (ToT) focusing on developing participatory and experiential facilitation skills, including the use of relevant tools and methodologies

DEI, Anti-Racism and Culture Change

We provide:

  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Training for staff members at all levels of the organisation
  • DEI Training of Trainers (ToT) for facilitators, trainers, coaches, HR practitioners and others working with DEI issues
  • Group Coaching and Consultations for DEI Practitioners and Stewards (Senior Leadership Teams, DEI Committees, etc.), which may include developing and aligning DEI vision statements, strategies and policies
  • DEI Affinity Groups (Employee Resource Groups) to create safe spaces for building connections around issues specific to particular groups, without the pressure of being heard and observed by other groups
  • DEI Conflict Management aimed at clearing a particular conflict between individuals or within teams
  • Whiteness in Transformation, a coaching space for meeting the discomfort and moving towards change

Leadership Development

  • Leadership Development Training for senior, middle and junior-level managers
  • Personal Leadership Coaching for individuals at all levels of the organisation to strengthen self-awareness, self-management and communication skills
  • Youth Development and Youth Employment Training, including life skills training, workplace readiness training, menoring and coaching for young people
  • Inclusive Leadership Guidance to foster a workplace where all people feel valued

Learning Through Travel

We offer:

  • Learning Adventures that are tailor-made to connect you to South Africa’s vibrant culture, history and present, through an interest or challenge that you wish to better understand.
  • Welcome to Mzansi! Orientations designed for international professionals, students and interns who are coming to live, work or study in South Africa and want to better understand our beautiful and complex country.

Wellness and Healing

We offer:

  • Workplace Wellbeing Workshops for HR, DEI, People and Culture, stakeholder mangagement and community engagement practitioners to foster greater safety and inclusion and shift organisational power dynamics
  • In-person Retreats to reflect, vision, learn and heal using various somatic approaches including movement, meditation, art and more.
  • Online and In-person ‘Flocking Circles’ to share, reflect and learn with each other. Tapping into our individual and collective wisdom, Flocking Circles are spaces where synergy, innovation and solutions abound.
  • Psychosocial Wellness Sessions to build self-awareness, emotional regulation and communication skills using trauma-informed approaches
